Student developer. Part-time systems admin
of my own network.

I split my time between two sides of the same problem: writing the software people use, and running the machines and network it lives on.

I'm a student focused on Windows desktop application development, building with C# in Visual Studio. Outside of coursework, I run a Debian server at home that I administer entirely from the command line provisioning it, keeping it patched, and using it as the base for whatever I'm building next.

That server doesn't run in isolation. I've been building out the physical network around it: structured cabling, switch configuration, and routing, so the hardware side is as deliberate as the software side. The current focus is tying it together with virtualization spinning up virtual environments to test, isolate, and deploy services without having to physicaly connect it each time.

Right now: finishing coursework in Windows desktop development, keeping the home server running, and building out virtualization skills so I can spin up and tear down environments as easily as I write code.
